This was a commissioned design for a band called LIPSMACK. They approached me to create a brand identity for their new garage, rock band that focus on love, sex, positivity and colossal riffs. They gave me full creative control over their brand identity with a small brief.

The lip-print became the core of the design — a direct nod to their playful, intimate side — but it’s paired with sharp, rugged lettering that brings in the rougher edge of their music. The contrast between the two gives the logo its personality. Overall, the final logo was designed to be seen on a gig poster, a drum skin, or a piece of worn-in band merch. It’s simple, striking, and reflects exactly what LIPSMACK wanted their image to say: fun, loud, and full of life.
